Coach Education

A new programme that will be taking place is Coach Education.  This will be conducted in the form of workshops for all youth section coaches and managers to increase their knowledge of the game and assist towards the further development of their respective coaching age grades.

In conjunction with the Coach Education nights there will be guest coaches from Gloucester and Worcester Warriors as well as Midlands RDO`s amongst other guest coaches who will be assisting myself in delivering this new initiative.

I feel that Coach Education is an integral part of any clubs progressive structure and crucial towards the age grade players own individual and collective development.

We will be using under 15 to under 17 players as the training group for this initiative; these players will therefore pick up quality coaching from these sessions also.  The dates for these sessions are as follows;

Wednesday 19th September 7pm – 8:30pm  
Conducted by Worcester Warriors

Wednesday 17th October 7:15pm – 8:45pm  
Conducted by Bruce Ruthven & James Handley

Wednesday 21st November 7:15pm – 8:45pm        
Conducted by Gloucester Rugby

Wednesday 23rd January 7pm – 8:30pm
Conducted by Alan Hubbleday Midlands RDO

Wednesday 20th February 7pm – 8:30pm     
Conducted by Worcester Warriors
