Ledbury U14s 0 - Stourbridge U14s 7

It was like starting a season all over again, but an early start to prepare for this cup match had blown the cobwebs away and prepared the squad as well as possible.

 From the kick-off Liam Colledge caught the ball and charged back over the halfway line and into the opponents half. Support was a bit slow and momentum was lost, but it was a promising start. Ledbury had the best of the first half. Noah Callaghan had several good runs, and Ali Martin broke the defence only to be chased down on the 22 by the opposition winger and full back. Stourbridge could tackle, and it was going to take good thinking and the right tactics to break through. Unfortunately this did not happen, and one spell of careless play in the second half saw three tackles missed and a score for Stourbridge under the posts.

The Ledbury team have forgotton how to win. Self belief and a bit of fitness should benefit the team. Not a bad performance, but the spark was missing.
