Bromyard U15s 5 - Ledbury U15s 13

Hi   Please see write up from weekend.   Bromyard U15`s 5 Ledbury U15`s 13   Ledbury U 15`s travelled to Bromyard on Sunday where they took on Bromyard U 15`s in their second match of the season. Bromyard were perhaps the better side in the first half scoring a try and testing the Ledbury boys with some penetrating runs and showing  a competitive edge at the breakdown. After a sluggish start, Ledbury came out of their shells in the second half and made a few runs themselves. Joe Crichard was the first to score after a trademark break and a little later Dave Nash battered his way over the line for a try of his own. Danial Fletcher had the last say with a well struck penalty to seal a victory that the Ledbury boys found hard going right to the end. There were some promising performances from Louis Wood, James limbrick and John Gurney up front and no 8 specialist Will English served his side with honour at outside centre. New boy mountain Alex Jackman showed great intent and is set to develop immensely over the season. Ledbury struggled for this win but, there is more to come from this side.    Mike
